About the founder
Jill Wheeler holds a Theatre degree from the Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas.
Jill has been performing on stage since the age of three. Born and raised in Texas, Jill comes from a very musical family. During her childhood years, Jill, her father, and three sisters performed throughout Texas as “The Wheeler Sisters and Dad.” The family band also appeared on numerous T.V. shows. Jill’s love for performing continued as she found herself on many Opry stages throughout her teenage years.
As a singer and songwriter, Jill released her first album All of Me consisting of ten original songs. Many Dallas radio stations latched on to the cd and it was given air play on many stations in Dallas and surrounding areas. Since then, she has released two more albums consisting of all original music. Many of the songs have been played on country radio stations here in Ohio.
She has performed all over Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio with her former band, Jamestown. She has opened shows for such country acts as Hot Apple Pie and Emerson Drive. Jill has competed in the Texaco Country Showdown for many years and has walked away with local and State titles in West Virginia and Ohio, three State titles in New York and one Regional title where she went on to compete in the Nationals at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. There, Jill performed with Country recording artist Leann Rimes.
Jill owns her own business, Curtain Call Productions, which offers singing and acting classes to children. She has been teaching children since 1991. She writes, directs and choreographs her own musicals. She has also been teaching private vocal lessons for five years now. Music has been, and will forever be, a huge part of her life.
Jill has seven children; Piper, Isaac, Ethan, Noah, Emma, Gabriel, and Briar.

"My daughter has been involved with Curtain Call for five years. I love the relaxed manner in which Jill works with the kids. As a result, my daughter loves acting and enjoys this class because she is given the chance to grow and perfect her acting skills. Through the many roles she has played we have seen her grow each time and be asked to take a more demanding role the next time. We love Curtain Call." |

"My daughter Lauren started acting through Curtain Call Productions when she was 6 years old and has participated in a total of 6 shows. Through her experience she has gained self-confidence, amazing social skills, ability to speak publicly, & great memorization skills. With Jill's "everyone gets a part" dynamic, it helps kids who may be shy at first come out of their shell and showcase their talent. The tools she has learned under Jill's direction have stayed with her. We are grateful for Jill's talent and her passion to share it with our children." |

"My 9-year old daughter Autumn has been a part of the last 2 shows and she loves it! The program has taught her how to be more confident and disciplined. We were amazed at what she and the other children were able to do after such a short period of time and were excited to see Autumn's personality come to life on that stage. As a parent, it's wonderful to see your child truly engaged in something that they love, and the skills she is learning will be life-long skills that we believe will help her to be more successful in the future." |
